About
Firstly, thank you for visiting and reading a bit about me and the journey.
Producing this art is really enjoyable, when I started to hear people say "hey, I want this on my wall", I thought it was time to make that reality.
Having watched way too much streaming TV during COVID lockdowns, I decided to revisit my passion, which as it turns out, is to create art.
Friends and family really liked the style and humour of 'London #1, so I continued by creating "a Day in Melbourne'.
'A Day in Melbourne' went up on my current employers' social media and achieved some 500 plus hits and likes in 24 hours with people I had never met saying, hey this is fun, I want this art on my wall, what else have you done? The picture also looked great framed and up on a wall.
Creating each picture takes some 200 hours, so it's an exercise in perseverance; when I start adding colour, the pictures come alive and I start to smile, that has motivated me to complete the pictures you can see in the portfolio and store. Please have a read of my mission statement and vision, its genuine.
I hope this website and my pictures leave you smiling.

Mission
To create detailed illustrations that captivate and inspire, with a particular focus on bringing smiles to the faces of all who view my work.
Vision
To be an ongoing financially successful business that can be a personal legacy and one that is built on a foundation of being ethically minded and collaborative.
My ultimate goal is to grow a global audience,
and to foster a reputation for making a lasting difference in the world by not just bringing smiles, but also by offering a collaborative experience between my art and the purchaser through creating ways to enable charitable donation.
Commissions
You may be a business owner or business team member wanting something different for your corporate offices. You may be person wanting something very individual for a loved one or friend, or yourself.
Here are a few reasons why you may choose me to complete a commissioned piece for you:
-
Producing this style of artwork is limited to not only people who can draw, paint and understand placement and scale, but also those who are prepared to put as many 200 hours into a picture.
-
The finished artwork looks absolutely awesome when framed and, on a wall, whether they are printed as A4, and all the way to A1 size.
-
I have worked in Project Management and understand the importance of working to a brief and timeline.
-
The possibility for content is really endless, and as you can see from completed works, each picture is unique and has it's own character, as would your finished commission.
-
At this point i have decided to not move into digital based art, mostly because I enjoy the freehand style; I do realise that it is somewhat inevitable that part of what I offer will need to be digital. If you like my work, and need vector based digital content please email, let's discuss and see if I can meet your needs.

Working together
-
Get in touch by email and include a few lines of information on what you are wanting to create.
-
Let me know if you are working to any particular timeline.
-
I send you back an acknowledgement and we set up a time to meet online, we discuss what you want included in the artwork and ideas on how you think it might look when finished.
-
We talk about price and have an informal agreement on that to start.
-
I then produce a rough pencil sketch at no cost that shows a concept design.
-
We meet online again, we may make a few changes and then when agree on the concept.
-
I send you a formal agreement that shows the journey from here to completion and include the cost of the work.
-
If you decide to proceed, we move on to a staged approach and to a formal pencil design during which time you can still make changes.
-
Then the ink outlines are added, and then on to colour.
-
As I work in watercolour, once colour is added it can't be undone, so the next part is crucial.
-
If you have any specific colours you want included, I can add what you want, or you leave that to me, both end results will be brilliant.
-
Then, when finished the artwork is scanned in high resolution TIF file and you receive both TIF and original.
Copyright / license to use copies can be discussed during our conversations.
As you already know each piece takes up to 200 hours, however, it's no secret right now that I am not new to art, but I am new to commissions, so there is a bargain or two to be had as part of my business promotion and desire to reach my stated Vision.
